ABOUT
Tom Bardwell is an accomplished lead visual effects artist and supervisor with over two decades of experience in the film, TV, and music video industries. After discovering his passion for art and computer graphics, he graduated from the Silicon Graphics Center in Sydney in 2000 and began his career in high-end visual effects.
His expertise spans on-set visual effects supervision, CG leadership, and CG generalist roles, with a particular emphasis on photorealistic lighting. Tom is recognized for his strong communication skills, deep understanding of visual art and photography, and ability to foster collaboration to bring creative visions to life.
Tom holds dual citizenship in the United States and Australia and currently resides in Ridgefield, Connecticut, where he enjoys close access to New York City. Throughout his career, he has been awarded multiple prestigious industry honors, including awards from the Visual Effects Society, Cannes Lions, and AICP Awards, among others.
